Clifton M. Booth - WW II Veteran

Clif served in the 3rd Army under General Patton from 1942 to 1945.  As with so many of the boys, Clif grew up fast and was a seasoned veteran by the time he participated in the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge and the arrival in Berlin, in the last as the driver of the third tank behind Gen. Patton.  The picture of Clif with the tank was officially forbidden; the tank was considered a “secret weapon” and the Army brass didn’t want the enemy to know anything about it?!?
