The one-room school district of Adams was located in the center of Cambria Township, not Adams.
Moving day from the Courthouse Square school to Central School
In 1868, after removing students to the new Central School, the old stone school house on the Court House Square was sold for $65.
In 1869 the Hillsdale Standard reported that "Wheatland, the richest township in the county, has the poorest school house."
